Every delivery is handled with care, with freshness and quality at the heart of our process. Our supplier delivers the fish directly to our premises. They have a key to our premises, allowing them to place the fish directly into our refrigerator before we arrive. This means our fish is perfectly fresh and ready for us to prepare every single morning.
This close partnership and daily delivery routine ensure that every portion we serve meets the highest standards of freshness, flavour, and quality.

A Family Business at Heart
Joseph's is a husband and wife run business, built on a shared love of great food and genuine hospitality.
Turan, born and raised in Southwark, has spent most of his life living and working in the area, giving him a deep connection to the neighbourhood and the people who call it home. His wife, Ebz, hails from Hackney, just across the river. Together, they've created a fish and chip shop that celebrates their local roots while offering warm, friendly service to everyone who walks through the door.
The Story Behind the Name
The name Joseph's carries a special meaning. It was chosen in honour of Turan's late father, Joseph, whose values of kindness, hard work, and family continue to inspire everything we do. His legacy lives on in every meal we serve and every customer we welcome.
How It All Started
Every great family business has a story.
Ebz first fell for Turan's chiselled jawline and ocean-brown eyes, while Turan couldn’t help but fall for her bouncy personality. Fast forward to today, and they now live and work together, which means they never really get a break from each other! Thankfully, they still seem to like one another (most days), and somehow they've managed to turn that into a family business.
